Bear deserves the best of the best homes where he is going to be surrounded by nothing but love and safety. Bear is a timid but a cheeky boy with a fun personality. He is great with other dogs and loves nothing more than a really good play, with this being said Bear is really energetic when he plays so not all dogs can keep up with his full on playful spirit. Being at the farm with us is great for him as there’s so many mates that he can swap and choose to knacker out. We do think he may be best as an only dog and then he can have loads of interactive toys, chews and lots of interaction with his adopter/s.

Bear is timid and it takes him a minute to make sure you are a good person and not going to harm him. Nevertheless, he is more than happy being in the company of humans. It will just take him a little time to really trust..chicken and yummy foods will help with that im sure.

Bear would suit a more rural setting for his home as it will be quieter with no busy roads which can be frightening for a little boy like Bear. We believe he would suit an ACTIVE retired couple who want a best friend to go out and about with, spending time at home playing in a lovely big secure garden or maybe even motor home holidays! Now, he likes the sound of that.

So, are you active retired? Calm positive household? No small children? No other dogs? (He is perfectly fine socialising with them) Have a secure garden? Rural setting? Then this lad may be just perfect for you.

If you feel you may have the home our little bear is looking for then please do send us a detailed email to: mail@rushtondogrescue.co.uk

Please do note: We receive a high volume of adoption applications, if you apply for one of our dogs please recognise that you may not get a reply or be successful in homing the dog you apply for.
