5mths old Staffie x Husky Cross is the very handsome ‘Rolo’… just look at that gorgeous face!! And he’s on the look out for his forever adoptive home, could that be you?
Rolo is a lively, energetic boy who will require a experienced home where his fun energy can be channelled and embraced. Rolo needs a child free home due to his bouncy mouthing puppy nature, so an adult only home is a must for this boy. He is sharing his foster home with another dog and gets on well with her but he can become over stimulated so this needs to be taken into account if you have a resident dog in the home.
It will be stipulated that you MUST attend puppy/training/socialising classes to maintain his friendly demure. He is going to grow into a big boy, so we want to ensure he continues to learn his manners when out in public and around people and other animals.
Thinking of his needs, here are some points from his foster mum who is doing a fabulous job at caring for him 👇
✨ An owner who will enjoy taking him on walks, spending time getting to know him, continuing with his training- he knows sit, stay, down, wait and some hand signals too.
✨ He loves reward-based games and activities. Enjoys meeting new people and dogs and going to different places. Takes a cautious approach at first, so needs you to be observant of his needs in different situations.
✨ Plays a lot with his resident friend and can get over stimulated so sometimes needs time just to chill. Loves his human and being close and just wants to please.
✨ A person/ people with time is essential, as he is a little power house on the one hand but a youngster who needs stability and security on the other.
Personally, I wouldn’t place home him with children as his puppy mouthing can hurt when he gets in his zone and he is still learning not to do this!
If you are an experienced large dog breed owner with time, patience and lots of love to give them Rolo could be the man you’ve been looking for! He really is a sweet loving boy who deserves the very best home.
