Sweet Teddy is looking for his perfect home, please read his adoption write up in FULL before applying to adopt- he is looking for a specific home. 

We saved Teddy after his previous owner left him behind whilst they moved aboard, he didn’t come with a thing to his name, he was very tatty, underweight and incredibly scared. 

Teddy has three legs, he is missing one of his front legs, this does not stop him from running and playing with his friends here. Teddy is a very special little boy who isn’t looking for your usual home. 

Teddy is PETRIFIED of the lead, he will not allow it, it terrifies him. So this is something that we will never allow him to be forced towards. He does not like the outside world, he does not like built up areas, he does not like traffic. 

Teddy needs a home with a super large interesting totally secure garden/land.. he is NOT a dog to be taken out on public walks. He needs a home where they will adhere to our rules with this and listen to exactly what we put in place in a home for Teddy. 

Teddy is super dog friendly, we would love for him to a have a friend or two.. or three. He would feel much more confident with other dogs around. He’s a very nimble little chap and can run and keep up with his friends.. just! He is standoffish with people he doesn’t know but with us now he adores us and has shown us just what a loving little boy he is. 

Teddy’s adoptive home needs to be a special one, experienced but also willing and understanding of how important it is to listen to everything we will be putting in place for him. Teddy will not cope in a busy household nor a built up area, he will only be going to the best home for his needs.

Being a poodle mix he will require regular grooming, he was very scared when we had to have him done but as we were with him it helped, he looks lovely when his hair is all fresh! 

Teddy is a small dog but with some lovely long three legs! We’ve actually compared him to an angora rabbit before. He’s very stunning and such a special little lad. 

Please do not apply to adopt Teddy just because you see his breed and his dashing looks.. his home has to be right for him and we can only get back to applicants we deem as potentially suitable. All resident dogs must be neutered.
