• COVID-19 Statement - Rushton Dog Rescue already sees a financial impact on the charity due to the COVID-19 crisis. Find out how to support us through this time, and please stay home and keep social distance.

We have over 100 dogs in china from the meat trade in quarantine waiting to travel to the U.K., USA and France. We update the dogs only once they have completed the assessment period at the rescue in U.K. So please send an email to mail@rushtondogrescue.co.uk if you are looking for a dog but can’t find the one you're looking for on our website or social media feeds.

Darkness to Light Project
Kept in a prison where their fate is the worst they could ever imagine. We decided to help the Chinese meat trade dogs when in 2016 we started to hear the horrendous truth of what happens over there.
We greatly appreciate all donations that we receive at Rushton Dog Rescue. Your contribution goes to helping dogs that are suffering across the world, to help give them a new life in a loving and caring home.
Adoption Process
Our goal is to find and place homeless and unwanted dogs on their forever sofas. Our most important priority is matching dogs to suitable adoptive parents, this process ensures we find the right home for our special friends.

Rushton Dog Rescue is a registered charity (No. 1139999) based in Dorset and Somerset and are committed to saving abandoned and abused dogs on an international scale; with current projects in China (Darkness to Light) and the UK. We create happy families by rehoming hundreds of dogs each year, find your new best friend and give them a forever home today!
