Wilbur is on the lookout for his adoptive home; could that be you?
Wilbur is a small beagle boy who we saved from euthanasia after he was found as a stray, never claimed and ended up in the dog pound. We are so glad we managed to save him in time, he is a lovely little lad.
Wilbur, being a beagle, needs his home to experience his breed. The breed is often misunderstood as being naughty when, in fact, it is just being who it is: cheeky, active, vocal, and full of life!
Wilbur will need other dogs in his home, again being a beagle we believe they belong with other dogs as they are sociable pack animals, we have a lot of experience with this breed so truly know what it is we are wanting for him. Wilbur is a super spirited boy however he is actually very well behaved for a beagle who has seemingly been not wanted, his basic manners are present and he is very friendly.
Wilbur will need an active home, a home where he can experience all the adventures he will require safely; he cannot be off lead in public and must be taken to secure paid dog fields to be able to run freely and safely; alternatively, a home with some fenced, safe land would be amazing as he can then do what he has loved doing at freedom farm, running through the fields, sniffing, howling and just having lots of free range fun!
Wilbur is a super lad, he is so full of love for everyone he has met so far, we are very confident he will adapt into a home life well with people who understand his fun breed! He is a small beagle who is like a little pocket rocket.

Wilbur really is lovely sweet boy who will make a home so much fun, he is very affectionate and will want to curl up on the sofa for cuddles, he will want to follow you around the house and become you’re very cute shadow.
