Our lovely Florence is looking for her adoptive home…. Could that be you?
Florence is a beautiful girl who truly deserves the very best home. When Florence arrived to us at Freedom Farm in poor condition she was suffering with bad skin, cherry eye, and was very fearful. But during her time here with us she has received all her medical care, and is now feeling so much happier x
Florence needs a patient, calm, understanding home. She can be very head shy around people she doesn’t know. And while she has gained confidence with us, it will take her some time to know she can trust someone new.
Florence would really love an adult-only home, she can be very cuddly and will force anyone out the way to get to her person! She also would be better as the only dog in the home due to her nature around her toys. She gathers them all up and likes to make sure they are all where she wants them. This good natured girl shows no malice towards people, but if she hears another dog about and thinks they may be coming near her treasures she can get anxious, and it’s apparent she does not want to share. We feel this would escalate in a home IF there were other dogs present. So a home where she is the main priority would be perfect.
Florence is super sweet and loving, she loves to receive affection and will sit straight on your lap for all the love! She would adore a secure garden so she can potter about safely, in a home with someone who will shower her with nothing but love and safety, which is just what she deserves.
Florence will very most likely always have flare ups with her skin, and she has dry eye in one of her eyes, so daily eye drops will have to be given. This MUST be taken into consideration when applying to adopt her as ongoing medication will/may be required. Her skin is in top notch condition now and she is super healthy after her cherry eye op, spay and her skin being treated. Bulldogs are a great breed, but do need someone who understands their ongoing requirements.
Florence would like to be fully part of someone’s home, and already told us she’s very much looking forward to getting up on the sofa and having snuggles and enjoy some peaceful walks.
